Growing up in a small town in Middle America, I always thought I knew exactly what I wanted in life. I was going to go to college, get a degree, find a good job, get married, and start a family. It all seemed so simple and straightforward, and I never once considered that my life might not turn out exactly as I had planned.
As a child, I was always a bit of a dreamer. I would spend hours reading books, imagining myself in far-off lands, embarking on thrilling adventures. When I graduated high school, I dutifully enrolled in college and began pursuing a degree in business administration. It seemed like a safe, stable choice, and I was convinced that it would lead me to a successful career. But as the years went by, I found myself feeling increasingly disconnected from my studies. The monotony of lectures and exams left me unfulfilled, and I began to question whether this was really what I wanted to be doing with my life.
Around the same time, I met someone who would change the course of my life forever. His name was Alex, and he was unlike anyone I had ever met before. He was passionate, creative, and utterly unafraid to pursue his dreams, no matter how unconventional they may seem.
